As a teacher, nothing is more tense and nervous than waiting for your students to get their A-Level results back. This is never an easy time of year, for students or teachers, and there are many possible outcomes.
If your students have done well, then it’s a time to celebrate. You may want to go along to results day so that you can find out ahead of time how your pupils have done. This is good news if your students were hoping to go to university, or to get into higher education of some description.
You are perhaps going to be needed more by the students who haven’t done as well. As a teacher, they will look up to you to support them and help give them guidance and advice. They could apply to different universities through clearing, or they may prefer to take on a job to see how this pans out for them.
