Teaching can be a wonderful career, rewarding and interesting and generally quite well paid compared to other jobs. However, you have to be the right kind of person to be a teacher and you have to find the motivation to work hard, to be committed and to teach the best lesson possible. This isn’t something that just anyone can do and you will have to find the commitment and dedication from within.

You must go into teaching for the right reasons. Whilst the salary is better than average, it still isn’t all that high. You should want to do it because you are committed to the cause and want to improve the lives and prospects of young people.
